I’ve been with HoH for 6 years, I do this job for the love of all things hot rod! I take care of the fabrication and mechanical shop operations as well as managing the build process for customers.
I happened upon the “House” quite accidentally 18 months ago who would of thought that now I am the proud owner of a bad ass ’55. After my first visit with Joey, it was obvious after touring the toy room of your deep interest & passion for HotRods & Classics. Joey picked up on my interest responded quickly with a degree of professionalism that left me with no-choice, but to have your “House” build that one-off classic that I have looked forward to for years. It has been a pleasure working with your staff.
I would not hesitate to recommend the “House” for your next build
Probably the most valuable aspects of the relationship are that I feel that the shop has been honest and timely in all communications and that made me feel informed throughout the process. From the initial estimate which was thorough, to additional suggestions for work along the way, the various folks I have dealt with at the shop have been knowledgeable and the cost estimates have been realistic which allowed me to make informed decisions.
Regarding the quality of the work, I would say that your mechanics/body men are true craftsmen. As I have taken the car out over the last week since delivery, comments from the many people that have stopped me to gawk at the car center around how “clean” it is and the mirror finish on the straight body.
I own a lot of cars – some of the best in the world.
I did not fully appreciate the work gone into my HoH build at the time but years and years down the road this car still looks and works as good as it did back then. That’s what you want – a car that will last a long time looking and working good.
Starting with my first visit to House of Hotrods, we felt this was OUR build, not mine, all of our contacts at House of Hotrods had made great suggestions on the build and offered up excellent points of view that I may not have seen or even considered. House of Hotrods contribution to our project was a great over the top success because of the quality of people throughout the project. Special relationships were built during the build and special thanks go to Tracy Litton and Joey for making us a satisfied customer.
My build has met all of my expectations and to verify this we are starting on another build with HOHR. These are great guys to work with and they take the drama out of building a dream car.
