Building a custom 1982 Corvette for Bo & Jim

Residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area certainly have heard of Bo & Jim, the popular morning hosts of The Bo & Jim Show on Lone Star 92.5.  2012 marks the duo’s 30th anniversary as radio partners, so they they decided to throw their listeners a party.  Well, it’s less of a party and more of a full-blown classic rock concert featuring Chicago and the Doobie Brothers.

Even better than that, these two car-lovers got in touch with us and asked if we could build a custom 1982 Corvette to commemorate the year that they went on the air together. Sure, we’re all over that we said!  Then they told us that they’re going to give it away to a listener!  How cool is that?

Bo & Jim pay us a visit
These guys are great, they drove to our 9-acre campus and spent some time with the guys coming up with some ideas for the project (shown above as Jim, Chad Mahone – GM of House of Hotrods & Classics, and Bo).  We’re not going to let the cat out of the bag yet, but it will be a pretty cool project and we’re thrilled to be part in it.
